The industry has experienced many disruptions and changes in the last few years. Some of those changes have entirely shifted the way we spend our time every day. Given the evolving landscape, do you find yourself struggling to keep up with what’s expected by clients while also anticipating their needs and differentiating your practice?

In this session, Brian Leitner, Managing Director of Wealth Solutions at Mariner Wealth Advisors, gives his perspective on how the industry will continue to evolve. Brian will provide insights and tips on how CPAs can position themselves to capitalize on future opportunities as well as provide an overview of the Mariner Wealth Advisors CPA Alliance Program and how Mariner Wealth Advisors partners with CPAs across the country.

Brian is responsible for a variety of strategic growth initiatives for both Mariner Wealth Advisors and Mariner Platform Solutions. In addition, Brian works closely with teams across the country to raise awareness of the firm’s resources, capabilities and strategic initiatives. Brian is a frequent speaker for a variety of industry events. Brian is also host to many of the firm’s video series, including Your Questions, Answered.

Prior to joining Mariner Wealth Advisors in 2010, Brian was a director at UBS Financial, where he worked with ultra-high-net-worth clients and oversaw planning for the $2MM-$10MM market. While in that role, he advised the firm’s wealthiest clients on heavily concentrated equity positions, philanthropic planning and wealth transfer strategies. Before joining UBS, Brian was a consultant in the Financial Planning and Tax Services department of Ernst & Young, LLP, where he provided investment and tax strategies to individual and corporate clients.

Brian has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the State University of New York College at Oneonta and a master’s degree in taxation from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
