Join us for a conversation with Trish Foster, Inclusion Advisor at Trish Foster Consulting. Trish is on a mission to help organizations become more inclusive for all employees, and her approach is positive, empathetic, and supportive. She believes that nurturing understanding and personal connections is core to DEI progress. In college, students often harbor idealistic expectations about their future careers. Upon entering the workforce, they encounter a kaleidoscope of emotions and realities, ranging from the exhilaration of achievements to the complexities and frustrations of daily professional life.
This session focuses on the significant impact of workplace culture on recent graduates. We'll navigate the intricacies of organizational culture, including the often-unspoken rules and biases that shape workplace expectations and interactions. This exploration is more than finding the right cultural fit; it's about understanding how various cultures influence early career professionals as they forge their paths, set expectations, and envision success. There's no one-size-fits-all "right" culture. Each organization is on its unique journey toward inclusion and belonging. Our key focus is developing organizational awareness to better align intentions with impact. We'll examine programs that facilitate this transition – from mentorship and coaching to tailored professional development opportunities.
Join us for an enlightening discussion that promises to deepen your understanding of workplace culture. Whether you're a recent graduate, a career advisor, or an HR professional, this session offers valuable insights into nurturing a successful professional journey. We hope you join the conversation!
