Our review of new cases and rulings takes us to a unanimous US Supreme Court decision which appears to allow added time under certain circumstances to appeal the results of a CDP hearing to the Tax Court. The Supreme Court made a “nondecision” on the attempt of several states to restore the unlimited deduction for individual taxes. We will look at two employee-independent contractor cases.
